IS THERE A FEE TO PARK?
No.

WHY AM I CHARGED PROCESSING FEES?
The fee is charged by the online registration platform to cover credit card processing fees and CPI compliance.

WHAT TIME DOES THE RACE START?
Registration will be open at 10:00 am. Opening announcements will begin at 10:30 am and the first wave will be released at 11:00 am.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO RACE?

Chris Hall’s Half K is open to all ages. Kids are able to run/walk the course and will receive all SWAG except, of course, the beer! 

WILL THERE BE A PLACE TO STORE MY BELONGINGS?

We will not have a bag check area this year.  We ask that you leave your valuables well hidden in your vehicle.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO THE RACE?
Yes, a picture ID is needed to check-in for the race and for a 21 and over wrist band for beer. You will want to stick around! We have many games to play, including a Dunk The Dad Dunk Tank. There will be local vendors, food, and beverages available. We will also have a corn hole tournament and music from the 80’s.

WILL WATER BE PROVIDED?
Yes, we will have water stations during the short course. There will also be donuts at that station. There will also be water to purchase for $1.00 or more at the food vendors.

CAN I WALK THE COURSE?
Yes, NO RUNNING ALLOWED…LOL

HOW TOUGH IS THE COURSE?
Not challenging at all. It is .31 miles or 1636 Feet.

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL?
No outside alcohol will be allowed due to liability issues. All ice chests will be inspected at the entrance. A beer and wine garden will be at the event with beer and wine to purchase. All Racers over 21 will get one beer wristband included in the race kit. Child racers will not get a beer wristband. DUH!

ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT THE EVENT?
Sorry, there are NO dogs allowed at Chris Hall’s Half K, so please leave them at home. (Service dogs are allowed) WOOF WOOF!

IS THERE PACKET PICK UP BEFORE THE EVENT?
We are mulling this over right now. Packet pickup times TBA.

CAN I PICK UP RACE PACKETS FOR FAMILY MEMBERS OR TEAMMATES?
Yes, you can pick up packets for family members and teammates as long as they have signed the waiver online during registration. You will need a copy of their ID (if over 18). A picture on a cell phone of the ID will be accepted.

CAN WE PICK UP OUR RACE PACKET THE DAY OF THE RACE?
Yes, you may pick up your packet the day of the race. Please arrive at the venue by 10:00 am. Be prepared to stand in line!

IS THERE SIGN UPS FOR WAVE TIMES?
Not at this time. This may be an option for future years.

ARE THERE AWARDS?
YES! Every contestant, regardless of finishing time, will get a 1st place award! You’re special and we know it.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO?
Yes!! There will be plenty to do! We will have local food and beverages. There is a FREE After Party immediately following the race with a live DJ!

WILL THERE BE A PHOTOGRAPHER ON SITE TAKING PICTURES OF THE PARTICIPANTS?
There will be several photographers taking pictures throughout the course. We cannot guarantee that they will get a picture of everyone though. Be sure to have friends or family members not participating in the race ready with their cameras as you cross the finish line! After all, you got 1st place! All pictures will be available on our website and Facebook after the event.

CAN A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER, NOT REGISTERED, TAKE PICTURES ON THE COURSE?
Only registered participants are allowed on the course due to safety and liability. There will be several observation areas where friends and family can take pictures.
